Business Spotlight:

Hemingway’s Island Grill

ERNEST HEMINGWAY ONCE WROTE:
“When you love you wish to do things for. You wish to sacrifice for.”

Although this rings quite true, along my journey of wedding planning, I quickly discovered that Hemingway’s Island Grill, named for “Papa” himself, offers no need for sacrifice!

As a Pensacola Beach local, I wanted my out-of-town guests to experience the feel of the island, but with a touch of class. From the clean, cozy-chic décor to the friendly, accommodating on-site staff and amazing menu selections, I knew Hemingway’s was the perfect place to hold our reception.

The benefits of hosting a party or event at Hemingway’s Island Grill are countless. The location is key - easy to get to with ample parking (they even offer valet). Plus, the décor is exquisite, so there is no need for expensive and time-consuming room decorations. Best of all, Hemingway’s boasts a breathtaking panoramic water view.

The menu is filled with selections that your guests are sure to remember. At an average cost of $25-$35 per person, they can enjoy crab claws, prime rib, or even seared Ahi tuna with plenty of side options including bacon-wrapped scallops, garlic mashed potatoes, and beautiful fruit displays. Need table linens? Hemingway’s covers that as well.
In addition, Hemingway’s offers three room options to accommodate different party sizes, ranging up to 150, but you may reserve more than one area if needed. Your guests will also have plenty of room to dance on either deck, where there is ample room for a DJ or a band to play as well as an outside bar. They also have heaters and rain covers, so in case the weather is less-than-par, your day will still shine!

As I continue to plan for our wedding, I feel completely at ease and excited about my choice to hold our reception at Hemingway’s. Whenever I have had a question, the on-site managers have gone out
of their way to assist me.

I look forward to the day when our guests arrive at Hemingway’s and are greeted with smiles from the exceptional staff, take in the amazing view, and enjoy the delicious food.

One thing is certain: If you host your party or event at Hemingway’s Island Grill you will love it, and you won’t need to sacrifice a thing!
A deposit is required to hold the space, so be sure to reserve as far in advance as possible, eight to twelve months is recommended.
